CBS Cancels Partners

The comedy has been pulled after six episodes.
CBS has cancelled freshman comedy Partners effective immediately. The struggling series never really found an audience on the network, delivering sub-par ratings up until this past Monday, where it delivered a series-low 1.8 in the adults 18-49 demographic.

Repeats of Two and a Half Men will air in its Monday at 8:30pm time slot for the time being starting November 19, 2012.

Haven Renewed For Season 4

The supernatural drama will return in 2013.
SYFY has announced that Haven will return for a fourth season. The network has ordered 13 new episodes of the supernatural drama, which will return in 2013.

The series has continued to be a strong performer in its third season, so far averaging its best ever ratings in the Adults 25-54 demographic. Five episodes remain in the current season before it wraps things up in late December.

No exact date has been announced at this time for Season 4.

NBC announced on the 8th that its new drama, Chicago Fire, has received a pick-up for the remainder of the 2012-2013 season. This means nine additional episodes have been ordered on top of its original 13.

The good news comes after the show garnered a series high rating this past Wednesday night, bolstered by the strong performance of its lead-in,The Voice.

USA Network's long-running drama will return in 2013.
USA Network has announced that its longest running original drama, Burn Notice, has been renewed for a seventh season. On the air since 2007, the series has remained one of the network's top shows, and will be its third ever to reach the 100 episode mark.

“Burn Notice is like a fine wine that gets better with age,” said network Co-Presidents Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel. “Delivering high-octane action, gripping drama and nearly 7 million viewers for the mid-season finale, this veteran series is a proven staple of our portfolio.”

The second half of the show's sixth season returns tonight with a special two-hour episode, and will continue through to the end of the year. USA ordered 13 new episodes for Season 7 of Burn Notice, which will return later in 2013.

Fairly Legal Cancelled

The drama ends after two seasons.
It is being reported that USA Network has decided against renewing Fairly Legal for a third season, making it the second show cancelled by the network this week. New series Common Law was also axed.

Fairly Legal never fully lived up to its potential on USA. The network attempted to re-tool the show after a lacklustre first season, but the changes were not enough to warrant a season 3 pick-up.

FX announced yesterday that Wilfred has been renewed for Season 3. The network has ordered 13 new episodes of the comedy for next year.

The Elijah Wood-starring series premiered in 2011 and has so far aired two 13-episode seasons, with Season 2 concluding late last month.

Season 3 of Wilfred is pegged for a June 2013 return.

The series, which follows a modern-day Sherlock Holmes solving crimes in New York City, has so far aired three episodes since premiering in late September.
