Willie Nelson is an American singer-songwriter, musician, guitarist, author, poet, actor, and activist. He has been is quite successful and a country music legend, but he is also broke! Nelson owed the government $16.7 million at one point in his life when he had not paid his taxes for multiple years. In 1990 the country music legend decided to file for bankruptcy. Nelson’s bank accounts and real estate holdings were seized when he owed the I.R.S. a cool $16.7 million.
