Just over a month after NBC broke the hearts of #Clockblockers by cancelling Timeless for a second time, it has been confirmed that the show will indeed be returning for a two-part series finale.

The news will surely delight fans of the time travel drama, who were left hanging after a major cliffhanger at the end of its sophomore run. At the time of its cancellation, there were rumors of a possible return to properly wrap up its story but the likelihood of it actually happening was unknown.

Timeless premiered in 2016 with a good amount of momentum behind it. Created by two veteran producers, the series was given a high profile time slot on Monday nights along with heavy promotion. While it was well-received by critics, a solid start in the ratings was not long-lasting, and the show was cancelled for the first time at the end of its freshman run.

NBC eventually had a change of heart and decided to bring the show back for a second season, but its sophomore numbers only further declined. It wasn't much of a surprise when the network cancelled the show once again, but fans were nonetheless upset. And while a third season will not be happening, this two-part finale will provide at least a sense of closure.

AMC announced today that Fear the Walking Dead has been renewed for a fifth season. The early pickup comes in the midst of Season 4, which is due to return for the second-half of its run on August 12.

The zombie drama, which began as a companion series to The Walking Dead, has continued to be a solid performer for the cable network. While its current viewership numbers aren't what they were in its earlier days, more overall viewers have been tuning into its fourth-season compared to the same point in Season 3.

The series underwent some significant changes for Season 4, staring with bringing in a new showrunner duo who have changed its overall tone and storytelling style. Gone are most of the original cast, with many newcomers now taking the lead. The first crossover with The Walking Dead has also taken place, with Morgan joining as a series regular.

Netflix announced today that Altered Carbon has been renewed for a second season. The good news comes nearly six months after the release of its 10-episode freshman run, which garnered a generally positive reception for both audiences and critics.

Based on novels by Richard K. Morgan, the science fiction drama takes place hundreds of years in the future, in a society that has been transformed by technology in completely new ways. Human bodies are interchangeable and consciousness can be digitized and transferred from body to body, making death a temporary inconvenience.

Takeshi Kovacs, played by Joel Kinnaman in Season 1, is the lone surviving soldier in a group of elite interstellar warriors who were defeated in an uprising against the new world order. His mind was imprisoned for centuries until an immensely-wealthy and long-lived man offers him the chance to live again.

For Season 2, Anthony Mackie has already been cast to take over the lead role of Takeshi Kovacs from Kinnaman. Because of the nature of the source material, which follows Takeshi's journey across hundreds of years and in many different bodies, the re-casting was somewhat expected.

The streaming giant has ordered eight episodes for Season 2 of Altered Carbon, which is down from the 10 it received in Season 1. Look for a return in 2019.

Just four episodes into its freshman run, Paramount Network has announced that Yellowstone has been picked up for a second season. At this weekend's San Diego Comic-Con panel for The Man in the High Castle, it was announced that the streaming drama will be returning for a fourth season. The good news was also accompanied by the long-awaited premiere date for Season 3, which is now confirmed to hit Amazon Video on October 5.

The Man in the High Castle is an original production of the streaming service and has become one of its more popular and critically-acclaimed offerings. Loosely-based on the 1962 Philip K. TV Land announced today that Younger has been renewed for a sixth season. The good news comes on the eve of the Season 5 premiere, ensuring at least one more year on the air for the veteran dramedy.

The half-hour series stars Sutton Foster as Liza, a 40-year-old single mother who pretends to be in her 20's after struggling to get back into the working world. Her lie helps her land a job at a publishing firm, but it also starts to complicate matters in her personal life.

Freeform announced today that Siren has been renewed for a second season. The freshman series is off to a solid start, with its March premiere ranking it as the #1 new cable drama among young women.

Siren follows the residents of Bristol Cove, a coastal fishing town where a legend exists that it was once home to mermaids. Fox announced today that Batman prequel Gotham has been renewed for a fifth and final season. The DC Comics-based drama, which follows the beginnings of the infamous city and all of its villains, has been a solid performer for the network over the course of its run.

In Season 4, viewers started seeing a young Bruce Wayne masquerading as a masked vigilante to fight crime in the city. The final season of the origin story will further follow his transformation into the caped crusader.

The comedy premiered in 2016 as Matt LeBlanc's first return to network television since his career-making turn as Joey Tribbiani on Friends and its subsequent spin-off Joey. His work as a contractor has seen his wife taking on most of the child-rearing responsibilities, but when she decides to go back to work, he must adjust to his new role as a stay-at-home dad.

Nine nine! In what may be a new record for the quickest revival of a TV show, NBC has reportedly saved Brooklyn Nine-Ninefrom cancellation one day after being axed by Fox. The network is said to have ordered a 13-episode sixth season of the veteran series.

The good news comes after a large fan outcry over the unexpected cancellation of the beloved comedy. Mere hours after the show's cancellation yesterday, talk had already begun that an outlet such as Hulu, Netflix or even TBS could step in to save the show. Things looked bleak, though, when just hours ago it was reported that Hulu was not interested in taking on the series.

While NBC was also mentioned as a candidate, the network was considered a long-shot at the time. Well it looks like the long-shot came through, as Brooklyn Nine-Nine co-creator Dan Goor took to Twitter this evening to give the good word to his followers.

Led by Saturday Night Live alum Andy Samberg, Brooklyn Nine-Nine follows an offbeat group of detectives and staff at the 99th precinct of the New York Police Department. Samberg plays the eclectic Jake Peralta, a talented but immature detective whose carefree style clashes with his stern, by-the-books captain, played by Andre Braugher.

The rumors were true - Fox announced today that Last Man Standing is being revived and will return for a seventh season. The good news comes almost exactly one year after the Tim Allen comedy was cancelled by its original network, ABC.

Earlier this month, multiple outlets were reporting that Fox was interested in bringing back the popular sitcom. The network obviously heard the significant outcry from fans after ABC unexpectedly axed the series, which was still a solid performer at the time. The recent success story of Roseanne's revival quite possibly sped up efforts to bring the show back to appease a large fan base that obviously was not ready for it to end.

Last Man Standing will return for the 2018-2019 television season and is set to include most, if not all, of the original cast.
