	k. Vlad's great-great-grandfatherbought the clock in the early 1900s\, and
	 it has been passeddown five generations of his family. Vlad's ancestors w
	ereaffluent farmers living in what was then Yugoslavia. At the endof the S
	econd World War\, it became a communist nation\, andhis family were stripp
	ed of their land and wealth. They facedgreat hardship for many years\, and
	 this clock and its upkeepsoon became a symbol of their determination and 
	family values.Vlad is very proud of his heritage and is honoured to be the
	custodian of the clock. It was carefully dismantled and boxedin order to m
	ake the 4000 mile journey back to the UK\, but asVlad lifted it from the c
	ar in his driveway the box broke andcarved wooden casing fell to the groun
	d\, breaking into pieces.Horologist Steve Fletcher comes to the rescue giv
	ing themechanism the much needed kiss of life\, while woodwork wonderWill 
	Kirk gets to grips with the smashed casing.Master HatterJayesh Vaghela tak
	es receipt of a policeman's helmet thatbelonged to an inspector who was ad
	mired by all who met him buttragically died young\, leaving a wife and six
	 sons. SonsRichard and Peter have kept it safe for years until anunfortuna
	te incident took place with the family dog who made ameal out of it! Much 
	of the front peak has been chewed away andis misshapen. They would dearly 
	like to have if repaired todisplay as a way of preserving their father's m
	emory.The finalvisitor to the barn is Claire\, with a small stained-glassa
	ngel that was made for her by her much-missed mother\,Margaret. Margaret l
	oved learning new skills and hobbies andthis angel has become one of Clair
	e's most treasuredpossessions. It hung on her window for years watching ov
	er heruntil it was blown off by a breeze and shattered. Clairedesperately 
	needs expert Matt Nickel's help to piece it backtogether and has a special
	 request as to how that might bedone.
