	y a man in a tutu – the suspect in custodyis ruled out and released with

	nvictions – including many against elderlywomen – he had been given un
	escorted leave on the day of theattack.In Newham\, East London\, response 
	officers Laura andOmar are on a night shift when they are called to an inc
	ident:a woman is shouting for help outside her flat. She has stoppeda pass
	ing car and told the occupants she's been beaten up byher boyfriend who is
	 still inside the flat. Officers arrive atthe address and arrest the man\,
	 but the victim chooses not tocooperate with the police\, making a charge 
	against the mandifficult.
