If only Allison had seen this coming: CBS has cut 'Medium's' season 7 episode order to 13 episodes. Is this it for Allison DuBois? According to Deadline Hollywood, CBS has not canceled the Patricia Arquette series -- yet. Its keeping all options open.
The series about a mom of three who can speak to the dead has done well in syndication on Lifetime and is averaging more than 6 million viewers on Fridays at 8PM.
This isn't the first time 'Medium' has faced danger. The series originated on NBC, but was almost perpetually on the bubble. Its last season on NBC averaged 8.45 million viewers.
When NBC canceled it, CBS scooped it up and paired it with 'Ghost Whisperer' on Fridays. During season 6, 'Medium' aired Fridays at 9PM ET and averaged 7.79 million viewers.
CBS played a similar game with 'Numb3rs,' another Friday drama. The network cut its episode order to 13 before canceling it last May.
Once the 13 episodes of 'Medium' are finished, creator Glenn Gordon Caron will remain at CBS as part of a development deal.

The news was confirmed on Twitter by co-executive producer KristieAnne Reed. “ABC gave us the word,” she tweeted. “We will only make 13 episodes of The Whole Truth.” The drama only averaged 5.3 million viewers (ranked No. 69 among all primetime shows) and a 1.5 rating/4 share among adults 18-49 (ranked No. 72). It’s unclear how many of Truth‘s remaining unaired episodes will see the light of day; an original episode is still scheduled to air on Wednesday. ABC already announced a Plan B scenario for the timeslot that will begin Nov. 3 with In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville. The special will feature the Good Morning America anchor interviewing some of country music’s biggest stars. On Nov 10., ABC will preempt all of its Wednesday programming for the Country Music Awards. Earlier today, ABC extended full-season orders to fellow rookies No Ordinary Family and Better With You.

This season's Christmas episode, "Abed's Unstoppable Christmas," which debuts on Dec. 9 at 8 p.m., looks like it might be the most ambitious homage yet, as most of the episode will be done in the stop-motion animated style of Rankin-Bass holiday classics like "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."
Ever since I heard about the idea, I've been looking forward to seeing how Abed, Troy, Annie, Jeff and company look like in the style, and now I know - and I am pleased. After the jump, here's an early look at how the group will look on Dec. 9:

In the upcoming episode "Caged Heat," Sam, Dean, and Castiel (Misha Collins) team up with Meg (Rachel Miner) to try to get Sam's soul back from Crowley. Spoiler alert: it doesn't work.
Dean doesn't want to give up, though -- and he's about to make a deal with someone much more powerful, and more dangerous, than Meg. In "Appointment in Samarra," Dean goes looking for one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse: Death himself, who met Dean at a pizza joint last season to help him conquer Lucifer. Death (returning guest star Julian Richings) offers to help, but he's looking for a day off. He tells Dean that he'll help return Sam's soul if Dean spends a day working as Death.
Where's Sam while all of this is going down? Unsurprisingly, Sam has been lying to Dean about wanting his soul back at all. He decides he's not interested in what having a soul entails - namely, human suffering, empathy, and heartbreak - and while Dean is making an extraordinary sacrifice, Sam seeks out Balthazar (Sebastian Roche).
Balthazar knows a spell to keep Sam's soul permanently out of his body, but it requires the blood of Sam's father. Since John Winchester is long dead -- and his body was burned on a pyre -- Sam decides that Bobby (Jim Beaver) is the next best option.
The title of the episode references an old folktale, in which a merchant in Baghdad tells his servant to go to the market and pick up supplies. When the servant returns, he's shaken, and tells the merchant that in the marketplace, Death bumped into him and made a threatening gesture. Terrified, the servant decides to flee Baghdad, and he borrows the merchant's horse to rush to Samarra, where he believes Death won't find him.
Meanwhile, the merchant goes to the marketplace to speak to Death and asks why she threatened the servant. She tells him, "I wasn't threatened. I was simply surprised to see him in Baghdad, as I have an appointment with him tonight in Samarra."
What do you think, "Supernatural" fans? Is Dean making a bad call with this Deal? Will he be able to handle playing Death for a day, if he's doing it for Sam? Meanwhile, just how much of Bobby's blood is needed for this shady spell of Sam's -- will Bobby survive the drain? Can Sam trust Balthazar's instructions?
And, perhaps most importantly, what will happen when Dean finds out what Sam's been up to, and vice-versa?

The Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famer is recovering from surgery to replace both of his hips. Joel, 61, underwent surgery last week to correct a congenital condition and is "doing extremely well," his spokeswoman tells People.
Joel toured earlier this year, but he's been slowed by the condition in his hips -- he's been walking with a cane in recent weeks -- and opted to have them both replaced in one operation.
There's no word yet on when he'll be able to perform again. We wish him a smooth recovery.

The filmmaker posted a first-look photo to the official "Twilight Saga" Facebook fan page Thursday (Nov. 25) with the following message:
"Happy Thanksgiving and a crazy Black Friday to all of you and yours."
Spoilers! If you haven't read the books and don't know what's in store for Bella, it's best to stop reading now.
As you can see, the pic is of an arm amongst some scattered feathers, but it's much more than that, right? As we know from the books, Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Rob Pattinson) are officially married and go on their honeymoon at the beginning of "Breaking Dawn."
What we see is the aftermath of that honeymoon night because Bella, being human and all, is quite fragile when it comes to Edward's vampire strength and stony flesh. There's some pain involved, and well ... feather pillows are destroyed.
We actually have to commend Condon on this pic because even though it's a big fat tease -- would it hurt to see some R-Patz nudity? -- it tells us so much. Well played, Bill.
If you can't wait to have more Robsten magic, MTV offers this sneak peek of a clip from the Eclipse DVD, which is on sale on Dec. 4. The awesome thing about this is you can here Stewart and Pattinson's fun audio commentary/banter over the images of a shirtless Jacob (Taylor Lautner) keeping Bella warm. Enjoy!

In the upcoming episode "Caged Heat," Meg is back to her old tricks. She's still being portrayed by returning guest star Rachel Miner - though in the past she's appeared as Nicki Aycox and even Jared Padalecki when she possessed Sam in Season 2.
For once, Sam's lack of a soul is coming in handy. Meg kidnaps the Winchesters, but while Dean (Jensen Ackles) panics, Sam remains calm enough to see through Meg's act. He even finds the whole thing funny. "She can't do jack squat. She's totally screwed. Look at her, Dean. She's furious. If she could kill you, she'd have done it by now. She's running."
Sam deduces that Meg is on the run from the newest King of Hell, their good friend Crowley. Now that he's in charge, Crowley isn't too fond of the demons who think Lucifer should be in the position of power.
While we're psyched to see Meg again - we always love a returning character - it's starting to bug us that she always gets the jump on our boys so easily. Isn't it about time they finish her off?
Well... after she makes out with Castiel (Misha Collins) of course. We wouldn't want to miss that show.

We just didn't figure it would be this way. Braff kinda-sorta makes an appearance in Wednesday's (Nov. 24) episode, and you can see it (along with the return of the cul-de-sac crew's pantomime murder-suicide) in the first clip below.
The primary focus of the episode (called "When the Time Comes") is Thanksgiving -- and specifically Jules' (Courteney Cox) attempts to make the holiday romantic when she says "I love you" and Grayson (Josh Hopkins) doesn't reciprocate. The rest of the gang doesn't really think Thanksgiving can be made sexy, which is the subject of the second clip.
Also, Travis (Dan Byrd) brings his roommate Kevin (LaMarcus Tinker) home for the holiday, giving him his first prolonged exposure to the crew -- and, we're hoping, a better understanding of why Trav is the way he is.

Dexter is closing in on everybody.
In Sunday's (Nov. 28) episode "In the Beginning," everyone is getting closer to either the truth, capturing their prey or showing their hand.
Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) and Quinn (Desmond Harrington) confront Jordan Chase (Jonny Lee Miller) about his missing head of security and his apparent lack of concern.
It's fun to watch Deb because she's not one to hide her feelings, and Jordan definitely is feeling defensive. Don't poke the bear, Deb! Who knows who he'll take his anger out on next. At least she's not his "type."
Speaking of "type," Lumen (Julia Stiles) has noticed that Emily Birch -- she of the blood necklace -- looks similar to her and the other victims.
Is Dexter (Michael C. Hall) right? Despite surviving, could Birch be the first victim? "In the Beginning" makes sense now in a twisted way.
"How is she still alive?" Yeah, we really can't wait to learn this full backstory.
Meanwhile, Deb has come across videos of the victims. We don't know how she even gets through one of them.
We love her take on things "They f***ing poke each other on Facebook," and the conclusion she draws about what's been happening to the missing men. Deb really is one of the most resilient characters.

Let's give thanks this holiday season that The Walking Dead will air its penultimate episode of the season on Sunday, Nov. 28 at 10 p.m. ET.
Sadly, Andrea (Laurie Holden) is not celebrating after the loss of her sister Amy (Emma Bell) in that incredibly horrific zombie attack (we're still jumping at shadows).
We really can't blame her, but the sad reality is that she needs to move on and "deal with" her sister's body. We don't think that there's necessarily a risk of Amy becoming a walker -- she just died from her wounds, and didn't come down with a fever -- but we could be wrong about how the zombie mythology works in this series.
But it would be difficult to see Amy added to the zombie attack barbecue that's going on. Let's hope no one else in the group loses anyone we've come to know. Somehow we don't think anyone's safe.

We're talking about President Bartlet (Martin Sheen) of"The West Wing" of course, although we're sure Obama isn't above seeking help during the holidays either.
On a special Thanksgiving-themed episode of "The West Wing," Bartlet discovers the Butterball Turkey Talk-Line (1-800-BUTTERBALL), which Charlie (Dule Hill) calls the "Butterball hotline."
"God, I love my country," says Bartlet. We agree.
The president then proceeds to call and stay on hold until he reaches a helpful poultry expert and then asks some tricky questions about stuffing. Our favorite line about whether or not cooking stuffing inside a turkey could kill his guests: "I'm not saying that's necessarily a deal-breaker."
We also dug up a couple other clips from the episode. Here CJ (Allison Janney) annoys the boys. Oh, and Toby (Richard Schiff) is wrong. Jamestown was settled in 1607, which also makes it the 17th century. Enjoy:

It seems like I'm saying that just about every week, but "Chuck" is on a huge roll of late. Last week's minor letdown aside, the show has been piling excellent on top of excellent for at least a month.
We have to start with the giant blonde she-male -- er, Sarah (actually, the overplaying of that joke was one of the few bum notes in this episode) and her "Kickboxer"/"Ong Bak"/"Bloodsport"/pick your favorite martial-arts movie fight in Thailand. We haven't seen this much Sarah Walker awesomeness in one episode in a long time, and watching her pretty much obliterate any and all in her path gave a huge jolt of adrenaline to the episode -- and the fight choreography in the "Kickboxer" sequence was expert.
The awesomeness also came from the non-butt-kicking aspects of Yvonne Strahovski's performance. She got to play Sarah going through a full range of emotions: ruthless and slightly scary (Casey even invokes the name of her former boss, Langston Graham, in commenting on her hell-bent attitude) when dealing with the unfortunate Thai functionary, scared and forlorn after finding out about Chuck's proposal plan and finally, gut-wrenchingly committed to saving the man she loves, Intersect or no Intersect. Really great stuff from her this week.
That climactic scene with Sarah rescuing Chuck from the perils of Phase Three -- having his mind wiped to get to the Intersect, essentially -- was tear-inducing. Sarah's opened up a ton since she and Chuck formally became a couple, but to see her so nakedly reveal her emotions was a shade we hadn't really seen from Sarah before, and it played beautifully.
The way the show portrayed Chuck's mind being wiped away also worked well -- the dream images while the Belgian and his doctor tried to locate the Intersect were just real enough to give them a real impact. We kind of wonder why Chuck didn't have any side effects from the mind-wipe, but that may just be one of those "Chuck" things we have to let go.
While Sarah was beating up half of Thailand searching for Chuck (with Casey and Morgan not far behind), the B-story held up its end both comedically and otherwise. Ellie finds the computer in her dad's Mustang, but she and Awesome are unable to get it working -- and she's about to start a 36-hour shift at the hospital. Awesome professes himself to be not very good with the tech stuff -- wait, there's something Awesome isn't awesome at? -- so enter Jeff and Lester.
Actually, enter the whole Buy More crew, who use Awesome's devotion to Ellie (and to completing a task on time) as a way to extract free medical care for all manner of gnarly conditions. Lester does at least get the machine (a Roark 7, if you're keeping score) to start up, but it's password-protected with the prompt "Knock, knock." The password isn't "Who's there" but "I'm here," which is the way Ellie used to mess up the knock-knock joke. She enters the password, says "Oh my god," and ...
We'll see next week. Curse you, "Chuck" writers! One thing, though: I (and many others) assumed the computer was a new Intersect, but based on Ellie's reaction it doesn't look that way. Chris Fedak told us that big things are in store for Chuck's big sister, but that might be a little bit too big a way to draw her into Chuck-world.
The answer to that question will (presumably) come next week. This week, though, was one big bucket of excellent.

"I'm working for Crowley, aren't I?" Sam argues. But we can't blame Dean for being skeptical. Maybe it's just Sam's cold expression, but it's hard for us to believe him. After all he's been through in his life -- a rough childhood, a dead girlfriend, and the whole Lucifer's vessel thing -- maybe having no feelings at all is a bit of a relief. He's felt plenty already.
The standard Winchester whiskey heart-to-heart (or, in this case heart-to-cold-shell-of-a-heart) is interrupted when Sam suddenly vanishes into thin air. You'd think Dean would be used to this with Castiel, but he draws his gun anyway, and finds Sam passed out on the floor in another room.
Ruh-roh.

Luckily, he won't have to go it alone -- he's found an unexpected ally in Caroline (Candice Accola). Accola and Trevino stopped by the Zap2it offices today for a little visit, and I had to get all the scoop on their characters' unlikely bond.
We've all been speculating as to whether Caroline and Tyler will ever hook up - Twitter fans even refer to them as "Forwood." (Get it? Caroline Forbes, Tyler Lockwood... yeah.) I'm not a fan of those smushed-together names, though, so from here on out the potential vampire-werewolf romance will be henceforth be known as The Monster Mash on Zap2it. I do what I want.
When I asked that inevitable love connection question, they played coy for a moment before Accola gave me a little hint of what's to come.
"What I think is so wonderful about any romantic relationship, in my opinion, there's usually some sort of friendship that starts that off," she says. "Who knows what'll happen throughout the rest of the season, but as of right now, I think it's a beautiful parallel for both of these characters that are kind of embarking on this new part of their lives in such an extreme supernatural way."
"He gets to know Caroline a little better and has somebody there," Trevino tells me.
Caroline's concern for Tyler takes him by surprise, and he's a little skeptical of it at first. He's struggling with the death of his father and he still thinks that his Uncle Mason (moment of silence for those Lockwood shoulders please) abandoned him to go surfing in Florida. "Maybe she sticks around. Why does she stick around? Why is she caring for Tyler, this douchebag jock?"
There's that adorably clueless elephant in the room, though -- what about Matt (Zach Roerig)? He's Caroline's ex -- and he's still hung up on her -- and he's supposed to be Tyler's best friend. Will Tyler and Caroline's new relationship ruin the bromance for good?
"Now we have this triangle," Trevino explains. "Tyler and what he's going through, and what he's going to go through, and Caroline and Matt. So for a few episodes I think there's going to be this trio, this dynamic of questioning and wondering."
Matt remains clueless about the vampires and the werewolves, but he's starting to be aware that his friends are leaving him out of the loop. "You're going to see Matt investigate some things," Trevino says.
Still, no matter how much Matt learns, it's not likely he'll never be able to relate to the supernatural experience that Tyler and Caroline now share.
"There are certain experiences that happen in someone's life that bring people together that wouldn't normally really have anything in common," Accola says. "And as much as you can try to relate, and try to relate, sometimes you just can't. I think that's going to be a big obstacle in the Caroline/Matt relationship."
I had to ask Accola whether she thinks Caroline is better off with Tyler or Matt, and her answer was the best thing I've ever heard in my entire life. "I think Joshua Jacksonshould come to Mystic Falls and Caroline should be with Pacey," she teased.

America's most famous teen mom (sorry, Amber Portwood) got some of her best scores of the competition on Monday's (Nov. 22) final performance show, but she still ended up at the bottom of the judges' leaderboard. Her first dance, a jive, earned 9s across the board, but she fell a little short of her fellow competitors with her freestyle number, ending up with a combined score of 52.
Maybe it was the lack of lifts -- she and partner Mark Ballas stayed on the floor for their routine, and it ended up looking like a relatively low-risk choice compared to Massey and Lacey Schwimmer's boogaloo and the flying around Derek Hough and Grey did in their freestyle.

According to the casting sides, "Klaus is late-20′s to mid-30′s. He's handsome, charming, intelligent, with a sharp wit. He's the only person who can out-Damon Damon. That's because he's got a thousand years on him. Klaus is one of the Originals. Possibly the oldest. But you'd never know it because he keeps up with the times."
Ooh, sounds sexy. We put our heads together and came up with our list of dream casting for the pivotal role, so here are our nine favorites. We tried to keep it to TV actors, because we can all dream big, but we're pretty sure that Tom Hardy and Leonardo DiCaprio are unlikely to swing by Mystic Falls any time this century.
You may not know him by name, but chances are you're familiar with his work as the super creepy rapist teacher on "90210" or as Dawson's unlikely mentor on "Dawson's Creek." He's got a sexy British accent -- which works out well, as Katherine first met Klaus in London in 1492. He's also good with a one-liner and he's definitely skilled at giving us the uh-oh feeling.
Why it won't happen: In addition to playing Professor No-means-yes, he's also played a man-witch on "Supernatural." How much CW villainy can one man take?
The last time we saw Jackson, he told us that he was still waiting on a job offer from "Diaries" executive producers Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson. Yeah, he was probably kidding -- but we'd still love for them to call his bluff. Aside from his obvious shared history with the EPs, he's certainly debonair enough to have been a nobleman in the 15th century, and believe it or not, he doesn't always play the nice boy next door - check out his movie "Shutter."
Why it won't happen: Carina is not in charge of the world. Yet.
Venti-latte worked with Williamson and Plec on "Cursed," alongside Jackson, and we've missed him on TV since NBC finally pulled the plug on "Heroes" in its vegetative state. We know he can rock a leather jacket, so he'll completely blend in with everyone else in Mystic Falls, and we've always loved his ability to deliver lines with a surprisingly stinging wit.
Why it won't happen: Unfortunately, Milo is too short to be scary.
Does anyone remember Kevin Williamson's far too short-lived CW summer drama, "Hidden Palms"? Handley, best known as Oliver from the first season of "The O.C." played a new kid in town with a troublesome past. We know he plays psycho-crazy-cuckoo-bananas pretty well - remember when he pulled a gun on Marissa Cooper? - and his grin is sexy enough to seduce even Katherine.
Why it won't happen: He's only 26 and looks even younger, so we're not sure he fits into the age bracket they're looking for. Plus, his juvenile demeanor is what makes him a charmer, but might not be believable for a 1000 year old vamp.
Hello, dream casting! Have you seen him? (If not, we can show you pictures... they're plastered all over our cubicles to cheer us up on rainy days.) Ackles can switch from endearing to menacing in the blink of an eye - and he's proven that he can play a manaical lunatic with 2009's "My Bloody Valentine 3-D." He's definitely worthy of both Katherine's initial affection and her centuries-old fear. As for out-Damoning Damon? Jensen Ackles didn't invent the single man tear, but he perfected it. Accept no imitations.
Why it won't happen: Uh, he's kind of busy driving his soulless brother around the country in the best car ever.
The wild card! Okay, we confess, we just miss having him on our televisions. Desperately. They want someone who keeps with the times, right? Nobody can blurt out a pop-culture reference like Adam Brody. It'd be wildly unexpected and might draw some new viewers to the show -- which will help now that "American Idol's" results show has been plunked down in that 8 p.m. Thursday timeslot. We'd rather watch Seth Cohen vamp out than hear Jennifer Lopez's opinion on anything.
Why it won't happen: We just can't imagine Klaus in skinny jeans, and we're pretty sure Brody's are super-glued to his legs.
Just imagine Czuchry and Ian Somerhalder going head-to-head in a scene together. Most epic smirk-off ever. Czuchry can play the most unlikeable character on the planet, and you'd still find yourself wanting to take him home to Mom. We love him on "The Good Wife," but we loved him even more in his role as the entitled, selfish, sexy, and oh-so-wrong-for-Rory "Gilmore" guy.
Why it won't happen: He looks so much like Zach Roerig, and there's only room for one set of BAMF doppelgangers in this town.
Though he currently plays a buttoned-up law professor on "Hellcats," we know just how sexy Harold can be from his time on "Queer as Folk" as Brian Kinney. In fact, on occasion, Damon's sexy smirk and catlike movements remind us of Brian, so we're sure Harold could out-Damon Damon with both hands tied behind his back.
Why it won't happen: Harold is a little old for the role - and speaking of doppelgangers, he definitely resembles Daniel Gillies, who plays Elijah.
We've got it on pretty good authority that Plec has a soft spot for those "Friday Night Lights" boys, and so do we. As a vampire in Mystic Falls, Klaus will definitely be required to remove his shirt, and nobody's better at doing that than Kitsch. He can smolder like nobody's business, and, much like vamp vixen Katherine, pretty much everyone he so much as glances at falls in love with him. We know we have.
Why it won't happen: We could see Kitsch going toe-to-toe with Damon, but we aren't sure he could intimidate Katherine.
To be honest, we definitely don't envy the casting director who has to fill this particular role. To find a man who makes Katherine want to hang out in a tomb indefinitely, as her body desiccates and her hair gets all un-shiny? It's not going to be easy.

As we can see from this episode, Shane (Jon Bernthal) is once again having to flex his muscles to keep the peace at camp.
Jim is such a gentle soul though. We're not sure why this scene had to go down that way. The whole camp shouldn't have been called it as if it were some intervention.
Most heartbreaking line ever: "The only reason why I got away is that the dead were too busy eating my family."
We've seen this episode in advance, and there's so much action in it, including what Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the other group are dealing with in Atlanta. Seriously, it's a good one.

[/imgleft] On "Caprica" the searches for Zoe and Tamara continue -- in two very different ways. "Ghosts of a Machine" gave glimpses into the origin of the human Cylon idea in its very early stage. Little does Daniel know, that will be the bane of his existence in years to come. The Hunt for Tamara: Joseph embarks on his journey to find his daughter Tamara with his new friend/private investigator Emmanuelle in New Cap City. His wardrobe has changed to emulate that of mens' fashion in the '50s in order to "camoflauge" himself with the rest of the citizens in the fake world. Their goal? To make their way across the city without dying. Sounds simple enough. To help Joseph out, Emmanuelle gives him an addictive drug called Amp (taken via eyedrops), which, like the name implies, amplifies a user's senses and reflexes. Joseph takes his first drop and he already feels its effect.
Joseph and Emmanuelle walk by an unconscious body, and it's after he makes the snarky comment that a game without rules sounds eerily similar to a scam. It's then Emmanuelle tells Joseph, "There's no rulebook in life, right? If you ask me, that's what keeps it interesting. You have to figure out for yourself what's important."
The two arrive at their destination and meet a guy named Zulu. We see the Tauron side of Joseph come out, as he bosses the guy around with an agenda to get to. Joseph shows him a picture of Tamara. He tells Joseph to try going to Mysteries, a club in New Cap City, but moments later, a man with a gun stops him in his tracks. He doesn't believe it when Joseph tells him he just wants to find Tamara, "the dead girl" they call her. The man tells Joseph that her daughter took out two of his own men, and he's looking for revenge. Before the man can kill Joseph, taking him out of New Cap City forever, Emmanuelle takes shots at he and his men. When the head honcho is ready to off Joseph, Emmanuelle takes the fateful shot for him, ending the man's life in the virtual world. Emmanuelle wants Joseph to grow some "stones" before he returns to the game, because his hesitation in firing his gun is a recipe for disaster.
Back in the real world, Sam comes over to Joseph's apartment to see how his brother's doing. Joseph asks Sam what goes through his mind when he's making a killing. Sam is perturbed -- and who wouldn't be! -- by Joseph's question, but answers anyway. "You tell yourself, 'It's not real,'" Sam says. "And then they're not people shooting at you, they're targets. The whole thing becomes just a game."
In New Cap City, Joseph and Emmanuelle stake out Mysteries. Emmanuelle briefs him on who to look out for and Joseph, taking on a new attitude (hopefully), marches forth, ready to seize the day -- so to speak. They check in their guns per the "no weapons allowed" rule. Mysteries is a cross between a strip club and a weird stage show. The current stage act needs someone to fill a role, and of course, they pick Joseph. He gives the host -- a sequined drag queen -- a picture of Tamara, who rips it up. The only way Joseph can find Tamara is if he can answer the following riddle: "As the gods overthrew the Titans, so has man overthrown the gods. But when man visits his sins upon his children, how shall he be repaid?" Joseph doesn't have an answer, and some men throw Joseph out.
As Joseph is ready to get his gun back from the weapons room, he notices a red "T" with a flower on top, Tamara's signature. Joseph takes two more drops of Amp to revitalize his senses. "Like you said, you're either quick or you're dead," Joseph says, before shooting the weapons check-in guy dead. He makes his way down to the club, killing many of the patrons, and asks the cross-dressing host about Tamara once more. The host confesses that Tamara, the one who transcends life and death, may be the answer everyone is looking for. The game changes people; stick around and you'll find out for yourself, the host tells Joseph.
"It seems your daughter has found a home," Emmanuelle says, after she and Joseph see the numerous "T" markings on the wall outside Mysteries. "Maybe you should go back to yours."
Daniel Discovers Zoe: Daniel is convinced Zoe's avatar is inside the Cylo and wants her to give him a sign to indicate that it is her within. He pleads with Zoe via the machine to tell him if she wants out of the metal and into a more human body (foreshadowing, anyone?). He asks Zoe to look at him when he's talking to her, and it takes a few tries for Daniel to get her to do so.
Daniel has Zoebot putting together a gun multiple times. While Zoebot is busy following his orders, Daniel recounts a story about the fire in their home when Zoe was five years old (which explains her fear of fire), as he prepares to light a cigarette. When he lights it, he lets the flame linger on the match, only dropping it onto the table when the flame burns his fingers. At that exact moment the match hits the table, Zoebot hesitates during her drill. That was all Daniel didn't to see to confirm his suspicion.
In the virtual world, Zoe tells Lacy about Daniel's test. She realizes Daniel wanted to see Zoebot's reaction, but Lacey tells her that maybe it isn't a bad idea for Daniel to know it's her inside. Zoe comes to the following conclusion: "I have to turn me off. Just be a robot." Lacy asks a haunting question, "Can you even do that anymore?"
Daniel has a one-sided confrontation with Zoebot, basically recounting every single thing he's done to transfer Zoe from the virtual world and inputting it into something real and palpable. A lot of what he says is true, though much of it is a catalyst to get Zoe's reaction. Daniel brings up the Maglev bombing, suggesting that Zoe was most afraid of life itself because life is well, scary. He lights another cigarette mere inches away. "If you're lucky, maybe you'll get to create something that lasts," Daniel says to Zoebot. He backs off a little, confessing that maybe it isn't Zoe underneath all that metal. "You are all of her that I have left," Daniel says bleakly. "So please, talk to me."
Zoe struggles whether or not to do what he says, but the decision is sort of made for her when Daniel pours gasoline around her. He tells her that all she has to do is step out of the circle, and that will confirm that it is Zoe in the robot body. Desperate measures for a desperate man. He throws the lit cigarette into the circle and Zoe is determined not to move, but as Daniel studies the robot for any movement, the flames die down before Zoebot has to make her fateful reveal.
In the lab, a tired Daniel decides to do one more test with gun in hand. "I love my dog, but I love my daughter even more," he says. Daniel gives the gun to Zoebot and tells her to shoot the poor Graystone dog. As he counts to five, the tension builds, and all of a sudden we're not sure if Zoebot will or won't go through with it. When Zoebot pulls the decisive trigger at five, the dog is its untimely victim -- or so it seems. Lucky for the family dog, the gun was only loaded with blanks. Whew. For now, Zoe's identity is safely hidden, but it's only a matter of time before it'll be accidentally or unexpectedly revealed.
In the virtual world, Zoe tells Lacy that she knew the gun had blanks inside when Daniel handed the weapon to her. Interestingly, had the gun been loaded with real bullets, Zoe would have offed her dear old father. Yikes. This leads to Zoe begging Lacy to get her out of Caprica, before she acts on her inhibitions and does something profoundly regretful.
Amanda Revists the Past: Amanda visits the site of the car accident that took her brother Damien's life, touching the tree the car hit, during which she sees the car drive by with her dead brother in the driver's seat. She calls Clarice, telling her about what she saw earlier that day. Clarice seems to think Amanda's vision of her dead brother is Zoe-related.
Vergis (guest star John Pyper-Ferguson) visits Amanda at the Graystone compound. Vergis, also in mourning because two of his employees were killed during the MCP break-in, tells Amanda about his device being stolen. Of course, Amanda doesn't know anything about Daniel's role in it. Vergis suggests that Daniel might have played a big part in Vergis Corp.'s stolen MCP, much to Amanda's bewilderment and shock. Little does Amanda know, Daniel is capable of some dangerous things even she is not aware of.

[/imgleft]Katharine McPhee is guest-starring on "Community" Thursday (March 11), but had things broken a little differently you could have seen the former "American Idol" runner-up on an different NBC series this season.McPhee tells Zap2it that earlier this season she talked with NBC about a role on "Trauma": "It was after the show had already started to air," she says. "They were going to add a new character, and I was going to go to network and test for the part, but I really wasn't ready to sign on for a show. ... It just didn't work out."
The experience did, however, put McPhee "on the NBC radar," and that eventually helped lead to her guest spot on "Community." She shared some details about her role, the NBC pilot she just landed and balancing acting and singing with Zap2it.
Zap2it: You're playing Chevy Chase's stepdaughter, correct?
McPhee: It's family day on "Community," so all the characters have brought their families in. My character comes in as the sweet, long-lost ex-stepdaughter of Chevy's character. She starts off like she's there with the great intention of reconnecting with her stepfather, and you kind of find out later that she's not as sweet as you thought. She's really there for an ulterior motive.
Were your scenes mostly with Chevy?
Chevy and Joel [McHale] -- mostly the two of them.
Does she maybe have an eye for Joel's character, Jeff?
Um, yes [laughs]. Yeah, I spent some time making out with Joel McHale. That was not the difficult part of the job.
"Community" has a pretty specific rhythm. How do you slide into that as a guest star?
For me, I just try to figure out how I want to play it regardless of the style of the show. From reading it you get the sense that it's very fast-paced, very witty. ... I hope I was able to [live up to] that as a guest star. Being on set with them -- Danny Pudi is just awesome. Getting to watch him and how he plays Abed, you get the point really quickly that it's a very specific style.
You were just cast in NBC's pilot "The Pink House" -- what can you tell us about it?
I'm excited to be part of a new show. I hope it does well and gets picked up. It's very exciting, but in this industry you always have to jump through hoops, and it's definitely a process. ... I've had friends call me and say, "So when do I get to watch you on TV?" And I'm like, well, that's a little bit of a ways off. We have to shoot the pilot first. But for me, I'm so excited to be part of a show that I think is going to be really cute.
As you move more into acting, how do strike the balance with your singing career?
I just take it day by day, or week by week. ... I already had to reschedule one of my tour dates, but it's fine. It's totally doable, and it actually makes my drive for getting out there and performing for people who want to see me that much more of a goal. I just want to do it even more knowing I have to really make the time. It's just a matter of having someone who's really good at scheduling [laughs]. ... I love both -- the worlds are really different, and I absolutely love that I'm able to get to do both.
Are you working on any new music, or just supporting "Unbroken"?
I'm not working on any new music right now. There was talk that I was going to do a Christmas album this year with my label. I'm not sure --- we have to figure out the schedule. ... We'll figure it out.
McPhee's episode of "Community" airs at 8 p.m. ET Thursday on NBC.

This gets a big thumbs up from us. Betty White is awesome, particularly on "That's not what your girlfriend said." And what an unexpected cameo by Abe Vigoda at the end. We weren't entirely sure Abe was still alive, so good to know!

Brett Favre, Super Bowl LIV MVP
There's something about a gray(er)-haired 50-year-old Brett Favre accepting a hologram MVP trophy that makes us giggle. The will-he-or-won't-he-retire schtick is a little old, but overall that was a solid outing.
Wait, what was it a commercial for? Hyundai? Huh. We had no idea until we rewatched. That is a tricky part of making the commercials. Don't let the joke overshadow the product.

This week, Ashton Kutcher's digital short advertising Tooter (a Twitter-like network that broadcasts Kutcher's flatulence emissions, or "gissions") didn't make it to air.

[/imgleft] Henry Winkler heads to USA, Georgina Sparks is back on the UES and "American Choppers" is done on TLC.Ayyyyy! Henry Winkler is coming to the second season of "Royal Pains" on USA. Winkler will be playing Eddie R. Lawson, daddy dearest to Hank (Mark Feuerstein) and Evan (Paulo Costanzo). As far as looks go, that's a great piece of casting right there.
Meanwhile, the bitch is back on the Upper East Side for the season three finale. Details are still being worked out, but Georgina Sparks was sent away under circumstances not to her liking, so actress Michelle Tractenburg assures fans "Georgina will be seeking vengeance."
In pilot land...
"That '70s Show" actress Laura Prepon has been cast in ABC comedy "Awkward Situations for Men." She plays opposite British on-air personality Danny Wallace, who plays himself. Prepon is his wife Meg who works at a smoothie shop. A hilarious clashing of cultures ensues, one presumes.
"Reaper" actor Bret Harrison has been slotted into FOX's untitled Adam Goldberg single-camera comedy, directed by Seth Gordon. It revolves around 20-something geniuses (Harrison is one) who crack computer security systems.
"The Sopranos" actor Michael Kelly has been snagged for the CBS spinoff of "Criminal Minds," which has already cast Forest Whitaker too. The spinoff focuses on a new group of profilers who work outside the FBI red tape. Oooh, rogue profilers.
ABC has picked up "Wright vs. Wrong," a comedy from Stephanie Weir ("MadTV") about a female Republican pundit.
Finally, TLC has canceled "American Choppers." Its final episode airs Thursday, Feb 11 at 9 p.m. ET. A source tells TMZ, "The Teutuls will always be a part of the Discovery family and we congratulate them on a tremendously successful series run."

[/imgleft] Sheryl Crow showed up on "30 Rock" last season playing herself, but acting wasn't exactly her thing... until now."Cougar Town" sources confirm that Crow has been cast in a three-episode arc as Grayson's (Josh Hopkins) new girlfriend.
Word is, Crow's character will be a wine distributor, which makes sense given that Grayson owns a bar.
Crow is a close friend of "Cougar Town" star Courteney Cox and series creator Bill Lawrence is known for giving guest roles to friends of his show's actors.
Question is, can Crow act?
We're thinking, yes. She is going to be in three whole episodes.

'Running Wilde': Fox not running back nine episodes

Though the freshman comedy has not been officially canceled, the network’s decision to not order additional episodes is concerning — this could mean Wilde might be running off the air sometime soon. The show had been suffering in the ratings: Two weeks ago, the series attracted just 2.9 million viewers. (That number, however, came with some silver lining: It was an 18 percent increase from the week prior.) Fox also decided to bench the series for November sweeps.
