Grace and Frankie is an American comedy-drama series about two women that find out that their husbands are not just work partners, but have also been romantically involved for the last 20 years, two women with an already strained relationship try to cope with the circumstances together. The network announced today that Grace and Frankie has been renewed for a third season of 13 new episodes. The early pickup comes ahead of the comedy's Season 2 premiere, which is yet to be scheduled. Star Lily Tomlin picked up a Golden Globe nomination earlier today for Best Actress in a TV comedy. Tomlin co-stars with Jane Fonda as divorcees brought together after their husbands fall in love with each other. The roles are the pair's first together since 80's comedy 9 to 5. Look for Season 3 of Grace and Frankie in 2017.
