iZombie is an American television series about a medical resident that finds being a zombie has its perks, which she uses to assist the police. The network has topped up Season 2 of the show, ordering an additional six episodes of the drama. The network had originally picked up 13 episodes of the sophomore series, matching its first-season total. Solid ratings through the first half of the season boosted The CW's confidence in the show, which was upgraded to a regular season entry in 2015-2016 rather than the mid-season status it premiered with back in March. The extra episodes up iZombie's current season to a total of 19 episodes.
