HBO Renews The Leftovers

HBO announced that The Leftovers has been renewed for a second season. The freshman drama premiered in late June, airing new episodes Sunday evenings where it has delivered fairly healthy ratings over its first seven weeks.

The show's 10-episode first season is scheduled to air its finale on September 7. No announcement has been at this time made regarding a time frame for Season 2.
