'Riverdale' Renewed For Season 4

The CW announced today that Riverdale has been renewed for a fourth season. The drama is currently in the back half of Season 3, with new episodes airing Wednesday nights.

Featuring re-imagined characters from Archie Comics, the noir-style drama follows Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead in their high school years as they deal not only with issues in each of their personal lives, but also with the aftermath of multiple murders in their small town.

Riverdale continues to be a strong performer for the network in Season 3. Ratings have stayed close to its sophomore run levels, which actually increased compared with its first season.

3 years ago, this show only existed as a script and this image. Now, there’s a superstar group of actors playing these iconic roles.
