Peng is skeptical at first, but afterseeing the positive effects of adhering to NaiNai'ssuperstitions, he dives headfirst into learning all he can tosecure his spot on the team. Eventually, he becomes soconsumed that he "breaks up" with Yi and Jinbecause of their zodiac incompatibility.

Jax and the team focus on jury selection. When Jax's dad comesinto town, Jax turns to Lewis for help, but finds relief froma new friend.

Carrie and Boris host a baby shower at Chequers as COVID-19cases rise, care homes call for guidance and the Department ofHealth tackles testing.

A wish-granting toad drops into Yi and the crew's life just asthe dumpling shop is being reviewed by a food magazine writer.Overwhelmed by her efforts to help her mom and NaiNai in theshop, Yi asks the toad to spit up helpful items - but Jin andPeng aren't so selfless. After the toad grows weak from theabundance of wishes, Yi and Everest try to help the toad gethome.

It's Chinese New Year! With Yi and Jin tied up in theirrespective CNY festival performances, Peng and asemi-disguised Everest hit the festive streets, eating andenjoying everything in sight.
