  1. Nick At Nite has cancelled See Dad Run, opting to end the show after it airs its third season. The comedy is the cable network's first original scripted series.

    There is some good news for fans of the show - See Dad Run will still be on televisions for a good while yet. Five episodes remain in the show's current second season, with a full 13-episode third season on tap to begin airing later this year. Plus, an additional 1-hour series finale has been ordered to wrap things up.

  5. In a recent press release, Fox announced that new series Rake will be moving to Friday nights. The time slot shift begins on March 14, which will be the show's eighth episode since its premiere in late January.

    The freshman drama has gotten off to a slow start on Thursdays, where it most recently dropped to a 0.8 rating among Adults 18-49, which is markedly down from its premiere rating of 1.7.

    Rake will air one more episode this week in its original Thursday time slot before making the switch next week.

  6. It was announced last week that the previously - cancelled Ripper Street has been revived and will return for a third season. The British drama originally got the axe late last year when BBC One decided not to continue on with the series. However today's news confirms that a new deal was signed with online giant Amazon, which has acquired UK subscription streaming rights.

    U.S. audiences will be pleased to learn that BBC America is on-board to co-produce the show and will continue to air new episodes of Ripper Street's third season. No return date has been set for the drama, but production on Season 3 will begin this May.
