NBC has cancelled Community, opting not to bring the show back for a sixth season. The news comes just one season after show creator Dan Harmon's return to the comedy. Harmon was brought back as showrunner in Season 5 after being ousted the season previous. The show aired a total of 97 episodes since its premiere in 2009. The series finale aired last month on April 17.

NBC has renewed Hannibal for a third season. The Bryan Fuller series, which is concluding Season 2 later this month, has been a modest performer for the network on Friday nights. It will likely continue to air in the midseason as it has so far, with April and February premieres respectively. Though no details have been announced, another order of 13 episodes appears likely.
