AMC has announced that Hell on Wheels has been renewed for a fifth and final season. The western drama will return with 14 episodes to conclude the series, split between the summers of 2015 and 2016. The show has three episodes remaining in Season 4, which is scheduled to wrap up on November 22. When the show bows out in 2016, it will cap a successful 5-year run of 57 total episodes. CBS has confirmed that the long-running crime procedural The Mentalist will be concluding after its upcoming seventh season. The show will kick off its final season on Sunday, November 30, where it will air new episodes through December. In the new year, episodes will move to Wednesday nights starting on January 7. A special 2-hour finale will air on Wednesday, February 18 to conclude the series.

It is being reported that Lifetime has cancelled Witches of East End after two seasons. The sophomore drama will not return for Season 3, leaving multiple cliffhangers up in the air from its second season finale which aired last month.

CBS has announced that it has ordered a full season of Madam Secretary. The freshman drama is off to a decent start over its first five weeks, ranking as Sunday night's most-viewed scripted broadcast with 13.5 million viewers. The initial 13 episodes ordered for Madam Secretary has now been expanded to a full 22 for the season.

The CW has announced that it has ordered a full season of The Flashafter an impressive start to its run. The superhero drama's debut earlier this month was the most-watched series premiere in the network's history with 6.1 million viewers in Live + 3 ratings. It also leads The CW's roster in the adults 18-49 demographic over its first two episodes. The initial 13 episodes ordered for The Flash will now be expanded to a full 22 for the season.

FX has announced that The Bridge will not be returning for a third season. The Diane Kruger-led crime drama premiered in 2013 and ran for two 13-episode seasons. Its final episode aired earlier this month.

The official Z Nation Twitter account has announced a second season renewal for the freshman series. Syfy's new post-zombie apocalypse drama, currently at the halfway point of the season, has gotten off to a solid start in the ratings since its debut last month. New episodes are currently airing Friday nights with the first-season finale expected in early December. No details have been released yet regarding a time frame for the show's Season 2 return.

WGN America announced today that Manhattan has been renewed for a second season. The good news comes ahead of the freshman drama's finale this Sunday, capping a critically acclaimed 13-episode debut run. Season 2 of Manhattan is slated to begin production in the spring for a premiere later in 2015.

FOX has announced that it has topped up the first season of Gotham to a full 22 episodes. The network has ordered six new episodes on top of the original issue of 16 after a strong start for the series over its first three weeks. Gotham is one of this fall's top new dramas, so far performing strongly in its Monday night time slot. The series premiere was also FOX's top fall drama debut in 14 years when factoring in Live + 7 ratings.

FX has announced that American Horror Story will be renewed for a fifth installment. The news comes days after its most-recent premiere set a record as the most-watched telecast in the network's history. FX has ordered 13 episodes for the series' next installment, which will premiere in October 2015. The current season, American Horror Story: Freak Show, is currently airing Wednesdays through January.

Starz has renewed Black Sails for a third season. The drama, which premiered earlier this year, does not begin Season 2 until this coming January. If the show's production schedule sticks to one season each year, Season 3 won't premiere until 2016.

The Canadian-based series, which starred Andrea Martin, was a collaboration between U.S. and Canadian entities - the first of its kind for a sitcom. NBC pulled Working the Engels from its schedule today, cutting its debut run short after just five episodes. Canadian broadcaster Global Television, which aired season one in its entirety earlier this year, announced that the show has been cancelled up north as well, citing low ratings as the primary reason.

The Emmy-nominated series is currently at the midway point of Season 2, with six episodes remaining before its season finale on September 28.

ABC Family announced that Switched at Birth has been renewed for a fourth season. The critically-acclaimed drama has continued to fare well for the network, remaining one of basic cable's strongest dramas over the summer. The show's third season finale is scheduled to air this Monday, August 18.

HBO announced that The Leftovers has been renewed for a second season. The freshman drama premiered in late June, airing new episodes Sunday evenings where it has delivered fairly healthy ratings over its first seven weeks. The show's 10-episode first season is scheduled to air its finale on September 7. No announcement has been at this time made regarding a time frame for Season 2.

The drama is currently airing Season 4, where it is averaging nearly 4 million total viewers for the cable network as well as continuing to be in the Top 10 summer scripted series in key demographics. USA has ordered 16 new episodes of Suits for summer 2015.

The mental illness drama aired 13 episodes between April and July but struggled to draw significant viewership over the course of its run. Its premiere episode garnered a healthy 1.5 in the adults 18-49 demographic, but numbers fell to less than half that by the time its finale aired.

MTV announced this week at its San Diego Comic-Con panel that Teen Wolf has been renewed for a fifth season. The network has ordered 20 new episodes of the supernatural drama, which will be split into two parts as it was in Season 3.
