The red carpet is rolled out as the ship docks in Cannes, intown for the night of the premiere of the latest film byinfamous film director Werner Altmann. The acclaimed butoutspoken auteur reluctantly chaperones his ‘muse' - risingstar Mimi McQuinn. But Mimi is then murdered during thepremiere.Jack and Kate are on the case, focussing theirattention on Werner himself, and also on influential butcorrupt and unscrupulous film critic Erin Daniels, and herbesotted and feckless son Lucian, both of whom appear to havegrudges and motive.Meanwhile, Jack and Kate navigate their waythrough various challenges in their new life as a couple –but when cabin sharing starts to become cabin fever, they'reforced to redefine their living arrangements.
