Canadian network Space has renewed freshman series Bitten for a second season in 2015. The supernatural drama, which airs on Syfy in the States, has been picked up for 10 more episodes that will begin filming this summer. The series is popular up north and has become Space's #1 original series of all time. US fans will surely be pleased with the news, as the show's return to Syfy appears likely - though no official statement has been made as of yet regarding a stateside pickup. (Source: Space)

It was confirmed today that Two and a Half Men will be ending its run after its upcoming twelfth season. CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler made the announcement at the network's press presentation to discuss their fall schedule. Show creator Chuck Lorre is said to be creating a "season-long event" to conclude the series, which will be ending in 2015 after over 250 episodes.

ABC has renewed Nashville for a third season. The country music drama has continued to be a decent performer for the network, garnering fairly steady ratings week to week. Over its two seasons, the show has won critical acclaim and amassed a loyal following of fans. Music from the series has also been steadily released featuring songs sang by the cast. The Season 2 finale of Nashville airs this Wednesday, May 14. Look for Season 3 to return this fall.

CBS has renewed The Mentalist for a seventh season. The once-ratings heavyweight has seen its viewership dip in recent years, falling to series lows in Season 6, which concludes May 18. It is rumored that the show will return for one final season of 13 episodes, short of its typical order of 22 or more.

CBS has cancelled The Crazy Ones after one season. The Robin Williams comedy got off to a strong start when it premiered last September. Four weeks into its run it ranked as the season's #1 new comedy, causing the network to pick up the full season of the show. Things, however, got worse during the second half the season. Ratings started to dip, and by its finale fell to less than half of what it pulled in during its early episodes.

NBC has renewed About a Boy for a second season. The freshman comedy has been enjoying a successful run since premiering in February after the Olympics. Adapted from the book and movie of the same name, About a Boy has been one of the network's best-rated comedies this season, airing along side other newbie Growing Up Fisher in the 9:00pm hour following The Voice.

NBC has cancelled Revolution, opting to pull the plug on the sophomore series after two seasons. The show's Season 2 ratings have been lackluster, and far below its Season 1 numbers. Revolution got off to a strong start when it first premiered in 2012, debuting with a strong 4.1 rating in the adults 18-49 demo and staying at a 2.6 or above for the first half of the season. Viewership dipped for the back half but stayed at a respectable number to warrant a renewal. The show's second season has been a different story, with its premiere starting at a 1.8 and falling as low as 1.1 for its most-recent episode this past Wednesday. Revolution's series finale is scheduled to air on May 21.

ABC has cancelled Trophy Wife after one season on the air. The freshman comedy premiered last September for a 22-episode run that will conclude next week. The show faltered in the ratings in its 9:30pm Tuesday time slot, where it aired following the just-renewed The Goldbergs, which drew significantly higher ratings.

ABC has cancelled Suburgatory. The satirical comedy has been an average performer for the network over its three seasons. Though its most recent season had its episode order reduced to 13 and premiered midseason for the first time in its run. Suburgatory's series finale is set to air next Wednesday, May 14.

NBC has cancelled Community, opting not to bring the show back for a sixth season. The news comes just one season after show creator Dan Harmon's return to the comedy. Harmon was brought back as showrunner in Season 5 after being ousted the season previous. The show aired a total of 97 episodes since its premiere in 2009. The series finale aired last month on April 17.

NBC has renewed Hannibal for a third season. The Bryan Fuller series, which is concluding Season 2 later this month, has been a modest performer for the network on Friday nights. It will likely continue to air in the midseason as it has so far, with April and February premieres respectively. Though no details have been announced, another order of 13 episodes appears likely.

NBC has cancelled Crisis after one season. Since its debut, the show has struggled with low ratings in its 10:00pm Sunday time slot. The action drama premiered in March for a 13-episode run. Eight of those episodes have aired thus far, leaving five remaining. The show's finale is currently scheduled for June 1.

The medical drama has been enjoying a successful run since its premiere in 2011, drawing fairly steady viewership year after year - though its numbers have dipped a little as of late. No details on Season 4 have been announced, but a return in the fall looks likely with another 22 episodes.

It is being reported that The CW has renewed freshman series The 100 for a second season. The futuristic drama, which premiered in March, has been garnering strong ratings over its first eight episodes. The first season of The 100 is currently airing on Wednesday nights, with five episodes remaining until the finale on June 11.

ABC has renewed Once Upon a Time for a fourth season. The fairy tale drama has continued to be a solid performer for the network in Season 3, which concludes this Sunday, May 11. The network tried spinning off the series this season with Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, but the show failed to catch on with audiences and will not be returning. Expect Season 4 of Once Upon a Time to return in the fall for the 2014-2015 season.
