In 1979, Marvin ended up filing for bankruptcy. According to Rolling Stone magazine, after Marvin went broke he ended up living in a bread van for a few years. The iconic crooner filed for bankruptcy in 1976 after a court ruled that the royalties from his upcoming album, Here, My Dear, were to be paid to his ex-wife for alimony.
