Mickey Rooney was an American actor of film, television, Broadway, radio, and vaudeville. Starting off as a child actor and moving up playing the role of Andy Hardy in many films, he was quite successful and talented. It was once stated that his personal fortune was worth about $12 million. However his popularity eventually began to dwindle, and by 1962 he filed for bankruptcy and listed his assets at only $500.
