Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris is an American live television variety series adapted from the British variety series Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. The network has pulled the plug on the show. The freshman entry, which premiered in September as part of NBC's fall lineup, was the network's latest attempt at a prime time variety show. Its premiere episode garnered decent ratings, but viewership declined over the course of its 8-episode run.
