The CW announced today that DC's Legends of Tomorrow has been renewed for a fourth season. The superhero drama has continued to be a reliable and steady performer for the network on Monday nights.
Premiering in 2016 as an ensemble series featuring characters spun-off from Arrow and The Flash, the show takes place in the same shared DC Comics universe but with a time travel twist. Its first season began as a mid-season entry, but Seasons 2 and 3 have both been a part of the network's regular fall lineup.
The CW renewed all five of its DC superhero shows today, which means Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and newcomer Black Lightning will also be returning for the 2018-2019 television season.
