Major Crimes is an American television police procedural series which is 'The Closer' spin-off series that follows Capt. Raydor of the Los Angeles Police Department. The network has announced today that the show has been renewed for a fifth season. The crime drama is scheduled to close out Season 4 in the new year with a multi-episode arc that begins in February. Season 5 will be 13 episodes in length, which will be its shortest since Season 1. Look for a premiere in summer 2016.
