Blindspot is an American crime drama television series. The network has announced that it has been renewed for a second season. The freshman drama has been one of this fall's strongest entries, helping it secure the early Season 2 pickup. The show was already awarded a full first season last month. While the show's renewal comes earlier than expected, it makes sense considering its performance. Seven episodes into its run, it garnered higher ratings in the adults 18-49 demographic than any other new show in 2015-2016. It is also a bright spot in NBC's otherwise lackluster slate of freshman fall entries.
