Switched at Birth is an American teen/family drama television series. The network has announced today that the show has been renewed for a fifth season. The veteran drama, which continues to rank as one of the network's top-rated original series, will reach the 100-episode milestone when it returns. This renewal comes ahead of the show's fourth-season finale. Look for Season 5 of Switched at Birth to premiere in 2016 under ABC Family's rebranded moniker, Freeform.
