Grady Memorial hospital has Beth and Carol, and the clan wants them back. Especially Daryl, he was with Beth when she got taken by them and he was with Carol when she got taken by them and he is very unhappy about it. It’s a different world now and to put it in Daryl’s own words that he uttered while he and Carol stood by the office window when they were looking for clues as to where Beth had been taken, “F*** the way it was”. It’s a matter of survival now; sometimes you just have to fight for your freedom and/or life.
Norman Reedus himself described the episode as devastating. He has said that he cried before the filming of it so that he would not break down on camera because of the emotional nature of the final few scenes. This, of course, would lead us to believe that the show is, yet again, going to kill off a major character. Although we won’t know that until we watch it, and it would stand to reason that there is going to be a major cliffhanger, which we will not see the outcome of until February, 2015.
They are setting us up to believe that it is going to be a doozy, and I for one will be upset if it’s not. We will have to wait two and a half months for the next installment of this series and it would be nice to have something to chew on while we wait. Even if it’s some serious anticipation about what is going to happen next.
