Girls is an American television series about the experiences of a group of girls in their early 20s. It is being reported that hit series has mapped out the rest of its run, and will be ending after its sixth season. Since its premiere in 2012, the Lena Dunham comedy has amassed legions of fans, garnered critical acclaim, and won multiple awards. The show will be kicking off its fifth season next month and has yet to be officially renewed for Season 6. It's likely that HBO will confirm a final season for the show when it formally announces its next season.
