Resurrection is an American fantasy drama television series about dead people who return to life. The series is based on the book The Returned, about the lives of the people of Arcadia, Missouri, and they are forever changed when their deceased loved ones return from the dead.The series follows the residents of a small Missouri town, whose lives are upended when their loved ones return from the dead, unaged since their deaths.
This series started as a mid-season replacement with only eight episodes, after a strong start the network continued the series for a second, thirteen episode, season. Unfortunately, it had a drop in ratings not even half of what it was during the first season and the netwok has decided not to bring it back for a third.
