Back in 1946, Agent Peggy Carter of the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve) has found herself stuck with administrative duties when she'd much rather be out in the field utilizing her vast array of skills. She's also figuring life out as a single woman after losing the love of her life, Steve Rogers - aka Captain America.

When old acquaintance Howard Stark is framed for providing his deadliest weapons to anybody with enough money, Peggy springs into action to help track down those responsible, dispose of the weapons, and clear Stark's name.
