Scandal Renewed For Season 3

ABC has renewed Scandal for a third season. The Shonda Rhimes political drama has come into its own since premiering in April 2012 for a short 7-episode run. Its pickup for Season 2 improved on that with an order for 13 episodes, and that was further topped up by the network to a full 22 last October.
