TNT Renews The Last Ship

TNT announced that The Last Ship has been renewed for a second season. Premiereing last month, the freshman drama has gotten off to a strong start for the network, ranking as the summer's top basic cable drama among key adult demographics.

13 new episodes have been ordered for Season 2 of The Last Ship, which is an increase from its first season order of 10. There is no word on a return date at this time.
