Apple - The CEO of Apple, the world's biggest and richestcompany, says the notion that his company is avoiding taxes onoverseas profits is just "political crap" coming frompoliticians who refuse to change an antiquated tax code.Charlie Rose conducts a wide-ranging interview with Tim Cook inwhich the Apple CEO also addresses his company's otherhot-button issues including encryption technology andmanufacturing products in China. In addition, Rose speaks toApple design chief Jonathan Ive, who lets 60 Minutes camerasinto his studio for a rare look at the process that gave birthto revolutionary products like the iPhone and iPad. MichaelCaine - After making films for over 50 years, Michael Cainesays his latest is his best work ever. The 82-year-old Britishactor tells Lesley Stahl that playing the role of FredBallinger in the new film "Youth" was also his most difficult.Caine talks about his latest movie and his incredible career onthe next edition of 60 Minutes Sunday, Dec. 20 at 7:30 p.m. ETand 7 p.m. PT."Secretly, I regarded it as the best thing Iever did," Caine says of "Youth," a film about aging in whichhe plays a retired conductor and composer. "It was the mostdifficult and the criterion for that is that I made it look themost easy," he says. The octogenarian actor says he needs thechallenge the role posed because, he jokes with Stahl, "Idon't get the girl anymore. All I get is grandma." But he tellsStahl being a grandpa is his biggest kick. Ten years ago hebegan playing Alfred the butler in the Batman trilogy of films."My grandson looked up at me and said, 'Do you know Batman?' Isaid 'Yes....I know him very well.' And he told all the boys atschool, 'My grandpa knows Batman. Does your grandpa knowBatman?'" There is talk of a nomination for best actor; hewould be the oldest person to win that Oscar. He has won forbest supporting actor twice.
