With COVID-19 raging across the city, the New Orleans EMSresponders face a series of crises that include a vehiclerollover from a police pursuit, a victim with close-rangegunshot wounds, and a race to save a woman in respiratorydistress.

Clarice feels an emotional tie to the victim when ViCAPinvestigates what appears to be the suicide of a medicalstudent in the United States on a foreign visa. Also, Krendlersecretly collects a DNA sample from the man he suspectsattacked Clarice at Woodhaven.
