Tara Correa-McMullen was an American actress, known for her role in Judging Amy in1999, Rebound in 2005, and Zoey 101 2005. The young star, whose character was killed by gang members, met a similar fate when a shotgun blast killed her instantly. She died October 21, 2005 at the age of 16. Skye McCole Bartusiak was an American film and television actress. She appeared in The Patriot in 2000, Don't Say a Word in 2001, as Rose Wilder in Beyond the Prairie: The True Story of Laura Ingalls Wilder in 2002, 24 in 2002 & 2003, Boogeyman in 2005 and Kill Your Darlings in 2006. Died of a drug overdose, the Harris Texas County Institute of Forensic Sciences said, "The exact cause of death is an accident due to the combined effects of hydrocodone and difluoroethane with carisoprodol”. Scotty Beckett was an American actor. He began his career as a child actor in the Our Gang shorts and later co-starred on Rocky Jones, Space Ranger. His descent into a life of alcoholism, drugs, and crime remains one of the most tragic of Hollywood stories. He was discovered after his father was hospitalized and Scotty would frequently entertain his dad by singing songs. During one such visit, a Hollywood casting director happened to notice the cherubic youngster and told his parents he had movie potential. After a momentous career he began to gain notoriety not only for his acting, but also for his nocturnal activities, part of the young Hollywood jet set. She stared in the "Bad News Bears "remake, and was featured in an ESPN.com Page 2 story about her athletic skills, and competed in the Junior Olympics. While in a car as a passenger, it was rear ended by a semi truck and subsequently crushed into another vehicle. She died from injuries sustained in the accident on October 9, 2012 at the age of 20. Rusty Hamer was an American actor best known for his role as Rusty Williams in the popular ABC/CBS situation comedy Make Room for Daddy. A deadpan, freckle-faced, curly-haired child actor of the late 50s, Rusty Hamer entered films at age 5 and became a precocious TV celebrity the very next year, trading quips with top comedian Danny Thomas as his lippy, obnoxious son. The talented kid had become an awkward teen and the offers dried up, immediately. He left Hollywood and came back only once, for Make Room for Granddaddy in 1971. The show was not successful, and nothing else came his way. The aimless, embittered man left for good this time and his life quickly fell apart. Left with no job skills, he had extreme difficulty finding direction, consequently living a wanderlust lifestyle, taking jobs that ranged from work on oil rigs to work in cafes. He became poverty-ridden, causing him to spiral into deep depression and, eventually, alcohol abuse, which led to an increasingly violent and delusional state. Rob Knox was an English actor who portrayed the character of Marcus Belby in the film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in 2009 and had signed to appear in the planned film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 2010. He died while defending his brother from an attacker. His death was caused by stab wounds from a knife during an attack outside a bar in southeast London. He died May 24, 2008 at the age of 18. River Phoenix was an American actor, musician and activist. He was the older brother of Rain Phoenix, Joaquin Phoenix, Summer Phoenix and Liberty Phoenix. His work encompassed 24 films and television appearances, including the science fiction adventure film Explorers in 1985.His death occurred after speed-balling cocaine and morphine. He collapsed outside of The Viper Room nightclub, while then owner Johnny Depp was performing onstage with the Red Hot Chili Peppers's Flea, and the Butthole Surfer’s Gibby Haynes. As news circulated through the club about Phoenix's collapse outside, the show stopped, but he was never revived. With him at the time were his brother, Joaquin Phoenix, as well as friends Johnny Depp and Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Michael Cuccione was a Canadian child actor, singer, dancer, author, and cancer research activist. When he was only 9 years old, he was diagnosed with 2A Hodgkin's Disease. Lucille Ricksen was an American motion picture actress during the silent film era. She was known for Edgar, the Explorer in1920, Edgar's Little Saw in1920 and Behind the Curtain in1924. She fell extremely sick during a filming and was subsequently diagnosed with tuberculosis. She died two weeks after her mother, who had kept vigil on her ailing daughter, suffered a fatal heart attack at her daughter's bedside. She died March 13, 1925 at the age of 14.
