The Viacom-owned cable network picked up the 10-episode drama in February 2014. The series opened in January and averaged 592,000 total viewers during its run.

It also won 16 Emmy Awards, five Golden Globes and a Peabody Award. The impending six-episode event will be present-set, contemporary. In other words, situations will be set in the time and place that they exist. Contemporary stories will be told about contemporary situations, true to Mulder and Scully’s characters and their relationship and the passage of time. Production on “The X-Files” event series is set to begin this summer in Vancouver.

It's time to play another round of 'Wait, Is Mila Kunis Married Or Not?' The Jupiter Ascending actress is a guest on the inaugural episode of The Late Late Show With James Corden, and the question of her marital status came up again, because that's more important than anything else she's done lately, apparently. Kunis played coy at first until Corden spoke for everyone and said, "Either you're married or you're not." She then showed him her ring finger and he seemed to gather Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, who are parents to 5-month-old daughter Wyatt, secretly got hitched and didn't immediately announce it to the world. Of course, all of this could mean nothing because I often tell people I'm married to Ashton Kutcher and SPOILER ALERT that's a big fat lie. So, alas, the mystery of Kunis' marital status shall haunt us forever.
