Rizzoli & Isles Has Been Renewed For A Seventh Season
Rizzoli & Isles is a medical crime drama television series about a detective Jane Rizzoli and Medical Examiner Dr. Maura Isles that team up to solve crimes in Boston. It has been renewed for a seventh season. Word is the pickup is for a shortened 13-episode run, down from the 18 it got for Season 6. The veteran drama remains popular though, currently drawing enough viewers to make it cable TV's most-watched series. Look for Season 7 to premiere in the summer of 2016.

Happyish Has Been Cancelled After Its First Season
Happyish is an American dark satirical comedy-drama series about Thom Payne, who gets the gift of insignificance, and suspects his ED pills are interfering with his anti-depressants, leaving him without happiness. In a culture that reveres youth - a culture he helped create - he needs to figure out what his purpose is now that he's halfway to death and nobody cares what he thinks. It is being reported that the freshman series has been cancelled after its first season. The dark comedy premiered on Showtime in the spring to mixed reviews and lackluster viewership throughout its 10-episode run.
 
It was originally to star Philip Seymour Hoffman, but the actor passed away shortly after the original pilot episode was filmed. The show runners were forced back to the drawing board, re-casting the lead role and some of the other cast. Unfortunately the final product failed to resonate with audiences, cutting its time short after one season.

Lilyhammer Has Been Cancelled After Third Season
Lilyhammer is a Norwegian-American television series about a New York mobster goes into hiding in rural Lillehammer in Norway after testifying against his former associates. The streaming service's chief content officer, Ted Sarandos, confirmed the bad news today at the TCA's summer press tour. Economic challenges were cited as the reason for pulling the plug on the show, which is produced in partnership with a Norwegian broadcaster.

BoJack Horseman is an American animated comedy-drama about the most beloved sitcom horse of the '90s - 20 years later. BoJack Horseman was the star of the hit TV show "Horsin' Around," but today he's washed up, living in Hollywood, complaining about everything, and wearing colorful sweaters. It has been renewed for a third season. The critically-acclaimed animated comedy, which just released Season 2 for streaming on July 17, will return with another 12 episodes in 2016.

The Soul Man Has Been Renewed For A Fifth And Final Season
"The Soul Man" revolves around R&B superstar-turned-minister Reverend Boyce, who was living the high life in Las Vegas at the top of the music charts when he gets the calling to go from soul singer to soul saver. Relocating to St. Louis with his wife, Lolli and his daughter, Lyric, to take over the preaching duties in his father's church, his family is not exactly eager to give up the fabulous superstar life for a humble one. It has been renewed for a fifth and final season. The Cedrick "The Entertainer" comedy has fared well for the network during its run, ranking as its highest-rated original series among key African American demographics.

Banshee Gets Cancelled After Four Seasons
Banshee is an American action-drama television series about Lucas Hood, an ex-con and master thief that assumes the identity of a murdered sheriff where he continues his criminal activities. His past seems to haunt him by those he betrayed years earlier. This ex-con imposes his own brand of justice where violence erupts at every turn in the not so quiet Amish town, Banshee, Pennsylvania. The upcoming fourth season will be its last. While there has been no official word yet from Cinemax on the matter, producers are said to be fully aware of the situation. In turn, they will use the advanced notice to come up with an appropriate conclusion for the series. Look for Season 4 of Banshee to premiere in early 2016.

Fear The Walking Dead Already Renewed For A Second Season
Fear The Walking Dead is an upcoming American television series that depicts what the world would look like as it was transforming into the horrifying apocalypse in "The Walking Dead"? This spin-off is set in Los Angeles, following new characters as they face the beginning of the end of the world AMC has confirmed its plans for the show's second season.
