ION Television has picked up the rights to Saving Hope in a deal that will see the Canadian medical drama return to the U.S. for the first time since 2012. The series first aired in the states on NBC two summers ago, where it lasted only 11 episodes before being cancelled from the network's schedule due to low ratings. The remaining first-season episodes were put up on nbc.com but the show's second season only aired to audiences up north.
With Saving Hope moving to ION TV, U.S. audiences will now be able to watch the show's first two seasons plus its upcoming third season, which is currently in production.
