Vic Morrow was an American actor that died in one of the more grisly celebrity death. He was killed durring a scene for the 1982 film Twilight Zone: The Movie. While filmig the movie a pyrotechnic explosions damaged a helicopter and caused it to crash on top of him and two children. Struck by the whirring helicopter blades, Morrow was instantly decapitated. Sid Vicious was an English bass guitarist and vocalist, most famous as a member of the influential punk group the Sex Pistols, and notorious for his arrest for the murder of girlfriend Nancy Spungen, he awoke in his Chelsea Hotel room to find her dead from a knife wound. Vicious would alternately claim tearful responsibility for her murder, that he had no recollection of the night and that they had made a suicide pact. Many believe that Spungen, a heroin addict who was desperately hunting that night for a drug fix, may have been killed by a drug deal gone wrong and that Vicious may have been unconscious during the murder. Vicious died of a drug overdose less than four months later, leading some to speculate that the dealer who stabbed Spungen supplied Vicious with enough drugs to be sure he never did get his story straight. He died February 2, 1979 at the age of 21.
