An estimated 90 per cent of hit-and-run drivers are nevertracked down. In this episode, officers rush to the scene of afatal road traffic collision on a country road in the PeakDistrict. A BMW has overtaken and crashed head on with a carwith a mother and son inside. Crash detectives investigate anda manhunt is launched to find two runaway suspects who fled thescene. And cops respond to another collision. On arrival,emergency services are treating a male claiming to be apassenger, so the search is on for a fleeing driver. Itbecomes clear that whoever was driving wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car through the back window andonto a grass verge.
