The new comedy gets another season.
HBO announced last week that Silicon Valley has been renewed for a second season. The freshman comedy, created by Mike Judge, premiered earlier this month with an 8-episode first season. The show currently airs Sunday nights at 10:00pm.

No time frame for Season 2 has been announced as of yet.

HBO wants more of the comedy series.
HBO announced last week that Veep has been renewed for a fourth season. The Julia Louis-Dreyfus comedy continues to be a strong performer for the network, winning critical acclaim and drawing healthy viewership.

The show's third season premiered earlier this month and will run through mid-June. No Season 4 details have been announced as of yet, but a return in April 2015 appears likely.

The comedy gets two more seasons on FXX.
FXX announced last week that It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia has been renewed for two additional seasons. This pickup will see the long-running series through at least Season 12, which will make it the longest-running comedy on cable television of all time.

The show's next two seasons will be comprised of 10 episodes each.

The A&E drama will return next year.
A&E announced last week that Bates Motel has been renewed for a third season. The network has ordered 10 new episodes of the show, which currently ranks as its #1 drama series of all time in the adults 18-49 demographic.

Season 2 of Bates Motel premiered last month, with new episodes airing Monday nights at 10:00pm. Production on the show's third season will begin in the fall for an expected return in 2015.

HBO announced last week that Game of Thrones has been renewed for fifth and sixth seasons. The news comes two days after the Season 4 premiere drew huge ratings numbers with 6.6 million viewers - the network's most watched program since The Sopranos series finale in 2007.

Showtime announced last week that Nurse Jackie has been renewed for a seventh season. Filming will begin later this year for a likely 2015 premiere.
This news comes ahead of the veteran dramedy's Season 6 premiere, which is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 9:00pm.

Syfy Renews Helix

The new drama will return for Season 2 in 2015.
Syfy announced today that Helix has been renewed for a second season. The network has ordered 13 new episodes of the thriller for an expected return in winter 2015.

The freshman series has enjoyed a successful first run since its premiere in January, averaging 2.1 million total viewers and 1 million in the 18-49 demographic.

The fantasy spin-off will not return for a second season.
ABC will not be ordering a second season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. The network has opted to cancel the freshman fantasy drama after its first 13-episode season, which concludes next Thursday night. Word comes via the promo for the episode, which refers to it as the series finale.

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland premiered last fall as a spin-off to the successful Once Upon a Time, which is currently in its third season.Wonderland, however, failed to attract viewers in the same way the original continues to do.

NBC announced last week that Chicago PD has been renewed for a second season. The freshman drama is off to a nice start since its premiere in January, delivering solid ratings in its post - Law & Order: SVU time slot on Wednesday nights.

The comedy's run has been cut short.
With Fox's announcement of its spring & summer premiere dates, Enlisted's run will be ending earlier than expected, effectively cancelling the struggling comedy. The schedule, announced today, includes the season premiere of Kitchen Nightmares on Friday, April 11 at 9:00pm - the time slot where Enlisted currently resides.

As it stands, Enlisted is still scheduled to air new episodes for the next two Fridays in the 9:00pm time slot. That leaves three of the show's 13 ordered episodes left unaired. Fox has made no mention of if or when these episode will be shown.
