The CW's new superhero drama has gotten off to a strong start.
The CW confirmed today that its new drama Arrow has been picked up for a full season. The show has been an early success story for the struggling network, with its premiere episode being The CW's most-watched telecast of any show, on any night, in three years. Its second episode held up nicely as well, maintainig its audience in the core adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 demographics.

The successful drama will return for season 3 with 12 more episodes.
Showtime announced today that Homeland has been renewed for a third season. The award-winning series has been a solid hit for the network, continuing to garner praise from both critics and audiences alike. Four episodes into its fourth season, ratings have also been performing well, showing growth over its premiere run.

“The writers, cast and crew of HOMELAND continue to create a remarkably entertaining and suspenseful roller coaster ride, growing audiences week after week” said Showtime's President of Entertainment, David Nevins. “We can't wait for our viewers to experience what unfolds through the rest of season two. Our partners at Fox 21 have been tremendous, and we are thrilled to begin the planning for HOMELAND's third season.”

The network has ordered 12 new episodes for Season 3 of Homeland. Production is scheduled to begin next spring, pointing to a likely late 2013 premiere.

Suits Renewed For Season 3

The USA drama is returning for 16 more episodes
USA Network has announced that sophomore series Suits has been renewed for a third season. The show has continued to be a solid performer, earning the distinction of being this summer's top drama on cable among adults 18-49.

The network has ordered another 16 episodes for Season 3 of Suits, matching its current season total. The show is currently in a mid-season break, with a return scheduled for January to air its final six second-season episodes.

No return date has been penciled in for Season 3 at this time.

Fox has given the new comedy a full season order.
Fox announced today that nine additional episodes have been ordered for freshman comedy The Mindy Project. This brings its total up to a full season of 22 episodes.

The show has aired two episodes to-date, averaging a decent 2.2 rating among adults 18-49. It is also the #1 new comedy of the season with adults 18-34.

Fox announced today that it has ordered six additional episodes of freshman comedy Ben and Kate, topping up its first season to 19 episodes.

This is promising news for the new show, which over its first two episodes has averaged a modest 1.9 rating among adults 18-49.

NBC has picked up the sci-fi drama after an impressive start.
NBC announced today that it has picked up freshman series Revolution for a full season. The sci-fi adventure drama is three episodes into its first season and has pulled in strong numbers for each airing in its Monday 10:00pm time slot, so far averaging a 3.6 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic.

“We’re impressed with the imagination and creative direction of the entire team on ‘Revolution,’ not to mention the immediately strong response we got from the audience,” said NBC Entertainment president, Jennifer Salke. “Ordering the full season of this show is a pleasure. Thanks to J.J. Abrams, Erik Kripke, Jon Favreau, and everyone at Bad Robot and Warner Bros. Television for their dedication to making a truly unique series. And I personally love to escape into a world where there is no power, the phone doesn’t ring, and the pace of life slows down -- if only for one hour a week!”

New comedies Go On and The New Normal were also given full season orders today.

NBC announced today that it has picked up a full season of The New Normal. The freshman comedy is the latest offering from Glee creator Ryan Murphy. Over its first three episodes, the series has averaged a 2.2 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic.

<p><em>Matthew Perry&#39;s latest sitcom has been picked up for the full season.</em></p>
NBC announced today that it has issued a full season order of new sitcom Go On. The series is Matthew Perry's latest venture into prime time comedy - the previous being last year's Mr. Sunshine, which was cancelled after a 9-episode first season.

Go On has aired three episodes since premiering on September 11 and has so far averaged a 3.2 rating among adults 18-49, making it the #1 new comedy so far this fall season.

HBO has ordered more of the award winning drama.
HBO announced today that Boardwalk Empire has been renewed for a fourth season. The Emmy Award-winning drama, which chronicles the life of "Nucky" Thompson during 1920s prohibition in Atlantic City, only recently began its third season on September 16, 2012.

“Terry Winter, Martin Scorsese and the rest of their outstanding team continue to produce a stunning show that never fails to surprise and entertain,” said the network's president of programming, Michael Lombardo. “We are excited to bring this unique series back for a fourth season.”

No time frame has been announced for the show's fourth season at the time of this writing.

TNT has ordered another season of the legal drama.
TNT has announced that sophomore drama Franklin & Bash has been renewed for a third season. The series stars Breckin Meyer and Mark-Paul Gosselaar as two street-smart lawyers and longtime friends who are recruited into a legendary, but uptight, law firm.

“Franklin & Bash, with its winning cast and some of the sharpest dialogue on television, is a refreshingly clever, light-hearted take on the courtroom drama,” said network executive VP Michael Wright in a press release. “We look forward to spending another season with Breckin, Mark-Paul and the rest of the terrific cast and crew of Franklin & Bash.”

The number of episodes ordered is not known, nor is the expected return date, but each of the show's previous two seasons have started in early June with a run of 10 episodes. The same is expected for season 3
