The Yankees have re-signed left-hander Chris Capuano to a one-year contract. The team didn't disclose financial terms, but the deal is worth $5 million. In signing Capuano, the Yankees feel they are adding depth to a rotation that will enter spring training full of questions and potential. The signing of Capuano, along with the rhetoric coming out of the Bronx, could be further proof that the Yankees are sincere about not be giving free-agent ace Max Scherzer a mega-contract.
