CBS Renews 'MacGyver'

CBS announced today that MacGyver has been renewed for Season 2. The update of the classic action-adventure series joins Bull as the only two fall freshman dramas the network has decided to bring back for another season.

MacGyver has been a bit of a surprise success for the network. Expectations for the show going into its fall premiere were decidedly low after an early panning by critics, but its numbers have told a different story, improving its time slot vs. the previous year in both total viewers and the adults 18-49 demographic.

Look for Season 2 of MacGyver this fall.
