The Player's Order Has Been Cut Down To 9 Episodes

The Player is an American drama television series. The network has cut back on the show's freshman episode order, trimming its original 13 down to just nine. The move comes after a slow start for the action thriller, which has failed to draw significant viewership after its first five episodes. The move unfortunately all-but-cancels the show.
