The Mandalorian 1x8 - Chapter 8: Redemption

The IG-11 rescues the Child from the Scout Troopers. Gideon hasKarga, Dune, and the Mandalorian, whose real name is DinDjarin, trapped. The IG-11 arrives and breaks the standoff,and the Mandalorian's group fights their way out. Gideoninjures the Mandalorian and the team flees indoors. The Childuses the Force to deflect an attacking Flame Trooper'sflamethrower back on him. The Mandalorian sends the othersthrough a sewer grate with the Child, while the IG-11 removeshis helmet to administer bacta to his head injury. Joining theothers, the Mandalorian finds the covert group of Mandaloriansdead or escaped, except for the Armorer who is finishing upher salvaging. She tasks him to care for the foundling Childlike his own, discover its origins, and return it to itskind. The Armorer fashions the Mandalorian his own signet andgives him a jetpack. The group is ferried down an undergroundlava river. But when they are ambushed by Stormtroopers, theIG-11 self-destructs to eliminate the enemy. Gideon attacks inhis TIE fighter, but the Mandalorian uses the jetpack to bringthe craft down. After making a grave for Kuiil, theMandalorian leaves Nevarro with the Child and Karga and Dunestay behind. Gideon cuts himself out of his downed fighter withthe darksaber, the ancient black-bladed lightsaber wielded bythe previous rulers of Mandalore.
