Mariahas brought a 19th-century Madonna and Child painting thatoriginally hung in a Ukrainian village church where her familylived. During the Second World War it was rolled up and hiddenin her grandmother's coat just before she was taken to a forcedlabour camp in northern Germany with her two daughters. Maria hopes to one day returnthe restored painting to its original home in the Ukrainianvillage church.Dom has his own challenge when a two-personkayak, originally built from a kit in the 1960s, arrivesmeasuring 18ft. Being so large it has been stored outside andthe years have taken their toll, completely rotting throughthe original wooden deck and blistering the fibreglasshull.Peter, son of Ray McFall the original owner ofLiverpool's legendary Cavern Club, brings in an item for theattention of paper restorer Angelina Bakalarou. It's a wallcalendar from 1963 used to book in bands at the venue.
