NIH – In its ongoing mission to shrink the federalgovernment, the Trump administration has cut over a thousandjobs and billions in research grants from America's crown jewelof medical research – the National Institutes of Health.While other administrations have tried to downsize the NIHbefore, leaked Trump administration documents show plans toreduce the NIH budget by more than 40%, sending shockwavesthroughout the scientific community.
