It is Pastry Week, and with just eight bakers left, Mary andPaul are looking for perfection. They have set three challengesto test the bakers on three very different types of pastry. Forthe signature challenge it is breakfast time, Danish style.Inthe technical challenge, Mary asks the bakers to keep theircool, giving them limited time and instructions to bake aclassic British tart. Mel takes a shift at a London Turkishbakery making baklava, and she discovers the history of thisdelicate desert that hailed from the palaces of Sultans.Andfinally there is a bite-size showstopper, a fine pastry whichnotoriously difficult to make and even trickier to bake.
